A woman may be facing charges after the Jeep she was driving was involved in an accident that sent four children to the hospital in critical condition. According to KHOU, the woman ran a red light and was t-boned by a pick-up truck. The four children were passengers in her jeep at the time of the accident.
The female driver and her front-seat passenger were being treated for injuries as well, though far less serious. A 12-year-old boy was ejected from the Jeep and the other children, between the ages of 1 and 9, were also seriously injured.
The pick-up driver was not hurt.
Police report that the woman was intoxicated at the time of the accident, according to the news article.
